Anna Ballian is the senior curator at the Benaki Museum of Islamic Art in Athens, Greece. She has published extensively on Byzantine, post-Byzantine, Islamic and Armenian art, and has curated several exhibitions. Among her recent publications are the Guide to the Benaki Museum of Islamic Art (Athens 2006).
